What is the difference from leasing and renting?
The most notable difference from leasing and renting is the period of the occupancy and therefore the stability of the arrangement. Renting is typically a month to month arrangement therefore the lessor and the lessee have a fairly low commitment to one another. A lease is for a defined period of time, with the typical lease being between 6 to 12 months at a time.
